On day ten I cycled out of Copenhagen on my way to Sweden. To come to Sweden you’ve to take the ferry. (Tip: with your bike go through the car checkpoint. Easy and fast!) That will costs around 29 DDK (3.90 euro) It was a nice day with lots of tailwind and could make 110km. My first impression of Sweden was Helsingborg and a few km later I saw the first IKEA. I ended my day in Orkeljunga on a campsite near a little lake.
In Kuala Lumpur I met a friend from Holland we decided to book a nice apartment in Kuala Lumpur by Airbnb. We searched on Airbnb for a appartment in Kuala Lumpur and found several but the best was an apartment with infinity pool!
That was the apartment in Kuala Lumpur we booked by Airbnb. “Exclusive Stay #2 at Regalia KL “. The response time was awesome. The owner (with badge superhost) reacts on every question in an hour. The first night we visited the mini market in the buiding and cooked a quick simple meal ourself.
I’m on the road for 8 weeks now and the most of my hostels I booked by hostelworld. In my opinion they are the cheapest. And have the “backpacker” “hostel” world name. But I met a couple of people who book at booking.com and get better deals. So I’ve compared those two last weeks.
In Bangkok I had to work a little so I wasn’t looking for a hostel. At least a private room. I looked on Airbnb for a apartment in Bangkok and found several.
The final apartment in Bangkok I booked by Airbnb was this one. “Bangkok Mini Stylish Studio“. The response time was realy good. The owner reacts on every question in an hour. The first night I was upgraded to a bigger apartment because other people want to stay a little longer. I could switch apartments (same building) on the next day whenever I want.
Finaly finished my short movie! This summer i biked from Amsterdam to Berlin and went back via Hamburg and Bremen. I made this video from the trip. #Tourdugermany Yesterday i got a real good treatment in this hostel, Kebab, ice-cream, beer and a movie. I Love it! This morning at 7.00 i started because it would be a big stage. Near the IJssel trough Friesland over the Afsluitdijk back to Amsterdam. Todays total was 227km the biggest stage of this tour.
