Three days two nights boattour at Halong Bay Vietnam

Last three days we had an amazing boattrip on the water of Halong Bay in Vietnam. First day we picked up at our hotel at 8.00 and after a four hour busride we had lunch on the boat. The food the entire trip was perfect! We went to the first islands in Halong Bay. With good feeling for imagination you could see a lot of animals in the rocks on the islands.

Sung sot cave Halong Bay

We stopped at a sung sot cave in Halong Bay and visited the cave. After the cave hiked up to a viewpoint in an other island. It was a little foggy but still a good view! If you wanted you could swim at the beach. After we left the island we went kayaking in Halong bay. One of the most beautiful places I ever kayaked.

Free beers

We went of to the big boat again for dinner. After dinner there was three hours of free beers and karaoke, a perfect combination 🙂 After the three hours we played some cardgames and went to bed. The next morning we waked up at 7.15 to have breakfast at 7.30. When the weather is good the guide will wake you up to see the sunrise in Halong Bay. For us it was to foggy.

Pearlfarm Halong Bay and cycling

On the second day after breakfast we went to a pearl farm. Nice to see how they make pearls. If you wanted you could buy pearls over there. After that we took the cycle on the island and cycled to the village. Nice to see how the people pive on the island.

Monkey Island in Halong Bay

In the afternoon the boat brought us to Monkey Island in Halong Bay. We saw a lot of monkeys on the beach. They went crazy when they saw banana’s. We could make some nice photo’s. After that we hiked to the other beach on Monkey Island. There where some nice viewpoints on the route to the beach bungalows.

After Monkey Island the boat took is to the harbor where we stayed at our bungalows. (some people of the group had booked a hotel instead of the bungelows) Had nice dinner and drunk some beers in the bar in town. With a “little” hangover we were picked up by the boat to go back to the harbor were the bus was waiting to bring us back to Hanoi.

We went with APTtravel. The total price of the trip was $125 including food three hours free beers and some other drinks with breakfast. (the rest of the drink you had to pay for) You can bring your own drinks but you’re not aloud to drink them on the public area of the boat.
