Pakse motorbikeloop Laos

The Pakse Motorbikeloop you can do it in two or three days. I advise you to do the loop clockwise the most beautiful views and waterfalls will be in the second part. So you get more excited instead of getting less excited. I’ve done the loop in 2014 and in 2023. Things have changed. The homestay at the waterfall (Tad Jarou Halang also named – Tad Tayicseua) has been closed, unfortunately. But new places (like Fendee Island) opened up and this motorbike loop is still an awesome thing to do!

One year traveling, the best moments.

This month I’m traveling for 12 months, like 365 days! I always said, I’ll go and see how long it will be. I didn’t had a goal to stay away for long. I just wanted to travel and do want I want to do.

This was my first big backpacktrip and I can say it isn’t my last one. When I think back about the last year it was crazy. Sometimes I scroll my Facebook or Instagram and see all those memories! Sometimes a bad picture still had awesome memories! I learned a lot about myself, the people around me and the world. Nobody can take that from me.

Tubing on Don Det – 4000 islands

When you are on Don Det that is tubing a nice thing to do in the afternoon. In the morning hire a bicycle and explore Don Det and Don Khon. In the afternoon relax in the tube. You can’t compare the tubing in Don Det with the tubing in Vang Vieng. The river is calm and there are no bars near the route. The costs to rent a tube is 10.000. (you don’t have to pay a deposit.)

Famous laundry scam Don Det 4000 islands

The laundry service on Dot Det is famous about their scams. The 8000 kip for the laundry looks cheap but they fixed the scale so one kilo is two kilo. And when you say something they don’t care. A lot of tourists will pay the bill and pick up their laundry again.

Ok, it can be one wrong scale so I checked several shops. My laundry is one kilo so thats easy. The first one my laundry weights 2 kilo. The second shop my laundry weights 1.5 kilo (with a 700ml bottle). The last shop my laundry was 3 kilo!
