Bikepacking Scandinavia

TourduEurope was my most ambitious cycling plan yet: ride from the Netherlands through Scandinavia and Eastern Europe, ultimately reaching Greece. Over the first few weeks, I crossed borders with ease—cheered on by tailwinds in Denmark, ferry rides to Sweden, and breathtaking, unpaved routes into Norway. Each day brought something new: cozy campgrounds, challenging mountain passes, and sunlit nights near the Arctic Circle. But in Trondheim, an unexpected injury brought my dream to a sudden halt.

Despite feeling strong in spirit, my body had other ideas. Faced with painful tests and a doctor’s stark warning, I had no choice but to stop pedaling and leave Norway behind. Although the journey ended far sooner than planned, I treasure the miles I did conquer and look forward to the day I can return, stronger and ready for whatever the road holds next.
