On our roadtrip we heard good things about Snorkling in Coral Bay. So we decide to book a snorkling tour the morning we arrived. The minimum of a boat is 6 persons and we were only with four. The company we tried called another company in Coral bay and they had enough people to go out to the Ningaloo reef. It is the biggest reef on the westcoast of Australia and de youngest on the world. The Ningaloo Reef Marine Park covers an area of about 5000 square kilometers.
The glassboat and snorkling tour for two hours was 57 AUS dollar per person. (1 hour is 41 dollar) Including snorkling equipment, one hour of glassboat and one hour of snorkling in the Ningaloo reef.
The guide on the boat told us nice things about the Ningaloo reef from history till funny facts during the glassboat tour. We snorkeled on two different spots. The first snorkling spot we saw sharks the second we saw a lot of colored fish. (If you are lucky you can see sea turtles as well)
Coral bay has nice things to offer, they have an awesome white beach. When you have your own mask you can easy reach the coral near the beach to spot colorfull fish and more. In Coral Bay they also offer (check first for the right seasons!):
