Bus Krabi Airport to Krabi Town Ao Nang
How to get from Krabi Airport to Krabi town or Ao Nang in Krabi. It is quite easy. There are two good options the Krabi airport bus or the taxi. The taxi is 500 baht the airport bus is 150 baht. Both will go to your hotel!
The cheapest way to get from Krabi Airport to Krabi town or Ao Nang is the airport bus (a white bus with blue letters on the outside)
When you get out of the immigration and pass the “something to declare” exit you will see a desk on your right side. There you can get tickets. A yellow ticket to Ao Nang and a pink ticket to Krabi town. This is important for the moment you have to switch 🙂 On 2/3 of the ride you have to switch the bus when you go to Krabi town. When you go to Ao Nang you can stay in the bus. (But always listen to the bus driver and co for instructions.)
When you have your ticket go to the exit of the Krabi airport and look for the employees of the bus. Give them the name of your and they will line up the route. Awesome thing the bus will drop you at your hotel! The ride will take 45 / 50 minutes to Ao Nang depending on the amount of people in the bus.
The public bus from AO Nang to Krabi Airport departs from 4 bus stops in the Ao Nang Beach area. The easiest bus stop is the one in front of the McDonalds restaurant in Ao Nang. The bus from Ao Nang to Krabi Airport costs 150 THB per person one way and departs every hour from 06:00 to 20:00. Maybe double check exact time schedule and latest information on day before in Ao Nang. <3
The taxi from Krabi airport to Ao Nang is 500 baht. When you don’t want to wait on the bus you can split the costs with two other travelers and you pay almost the same price when you go by the bus.

Hi Ema, in Ao Nang you can book the bus or a minivan to the airport at the local shops :) You can always negotiate about the price if you like.
Where is the location for Krabi Town final stop point from Krabi Airport ?
You can just say which hotel you want to go and they will bring you there :)

Hi June, there is no public transport but it is really easy to book your ticket at one of the travelagencies, when you arrive you can buy a ticket at the airport, they will go every hour :) Enjoy your stay in Ao Nang.

There is no bus to Railay beach, you have to take a boat. You can book that on in Ao Nang or Krabi town :) Phra Nang I don't know about. But it is easy to book the boat near the beach. Have a great time Lyaila!

Hi, do you know what time the shuttle bus starts running in the morning from Ao Nang? Need to be at Krabi airport at 6 a.m. which means leaving Ao Nang before 5 a.m. Is it doable? Can't find info anywhere. Thank you!

I don't know but when there is an airplane going with more people from the region I'm sure there will be more minivans. The agents are working together to have the minivans full to the airport at that time. Just book it in advance :)
