Konglor cave Laos

In our motorbike loop from Thakhek we visited on the 3th morning the Konglor Cave. It is a special cave to visit. You walk into the cave and there you go on a small wooden boat with small engine. Two guides will take care of you and the boat during the boat ride.

The boat ride in the cave is in total 7km! First a km to the stones in the cave. They made electricity in the cave so you can see them. After that you’ll go 6km further into the Konglor cave. Sometimes you have to get out of the boat because the water is to low. (it was dry season) At the other side of the cave you’ll see the big stone mountains and nature. At the end you will visit some shops where you can drink and eat something before you make the ride back.

The  cave was for my one of the highlights of the Thakhek motorbike loop.
