After a week in hectic Bangkok I was ready for the beach. In Thailand (and Asia as well) you can fly pretty cheap. I booked a planeticket from Bangkok to Krabi and back for 1100 baht (28 euro). The Bus from Khoa San Road is 700 baht.
Find and book busses from BKK to Krabi online easily.
But the busdrive will take 11 hours and the flight will take 1 hour and 50 minutes. Ofcource you’ve to check-in and from KSR to the airport 30-min. and from Krabi airport to Krabi 30 min. but I prefer to fly! You can find some cheap flights easy on skyscanner.com
Once in Krabi you can take the shuttle bus service for 150 baht to Krabi town of Ao Nang.
From Krabi it’s easy to book tours to different islands. For example you can go to Koh phi phi, Ko Phi Phi Lee (Famous of movie the Beach) Khao Phing Kan (famous of the James Bond movie). But there are a lot of Island in front of Krabi you can go to. The touroperators in Krabi an Ao Nang can offer you different tours. Don’t forget to watch the beautiful sunset in Ao Nang.
