Short answer: GoBackpackGo earns money through affiliate links. If you book or buy something through one of them, we may get a small commission. You pay the same price.
Affiliate links
Some links on this site are affiliate links, for example to eSIM providers, flight compensation services, car rental and hotel booking sites. Most of them run through the Travelpayouts network or through short links that start with /go/. Pages with affiliate links say so near the first link.
We only add an affiliate link when it helps with the decision on that page, and we name the free or cheaper alternative where one exists. A local SIM card bought at the airport, or claiming compensation from the airline yourself, are examples you will find in our guides.
What we never do
- Sell links inside the text or publish paid guest posts.
- Invent reviews, experiences or discount codes. Codes appear only when they are real, allowed and dated.
- Let a commission decide what we recommend.
Plans
We may later add clearly labelled featured partners (marked “Sponsored”) and our own route files and checklists. When that happens, this page will explain how they work.
