Today I was in the local bus from Vientiane to Thakhek. The tuk tuk picked me up at 9.00 the bus suposed to leave at 10.00 but was full. Lot of packages. We I had the bus at 10.30.

Our bus was packed as well but the most of the stuff was on the roof. I think around 150 waterpipes, some boxes and 6 bags of soft hello kitty teddy bears. The driver and codriver putted extra weight on the floor as conpasation of the extra weight on the roof.
During the ride we picked up more People. Some People had to sit on plastic chairs in the walkinglane. At every stop woman came into the bus to sell food, snacks, drinks and little cleaning towels. And: The whole way we could sing Lao Karaoke!;)
Awesome thing to do in Thakhek is the motorbikeloop!
