Bus Mandalay to Bagan

I arranged my busticket from Mandalay to Bagan at the reception of my hotel in Mandalay. It was 9000 MMK ($9) for a aircon bus. They pick you up at the hotel 30 minutes before your bus depart. In my case at 9.30. And we drove away in the normal bus at 10. We arrived at 15.00 at our hotel in Bagan. (5 hours drive)

Nice cheap hotel in Mandalay

The hotels in Myanmar are not really cheap. But I think for $20 a room is a good price. It was $20 for a single room and $30 for a double room.

At my first night I booked a night trough booking.com. The hotel was $20 and OK. I spoke a Spanish girl and she stayed at the Yadanarbon hotel that seems to be better for $20. And yes it was!
