Map of the route I advise after my experience riding a motorbike in Vietnam. This route is going on the Ho Chi Minh Highway to Hanoi HCMH. Of course you can go to the coast and see the sea. Yes do it for the relaxing days but try to avoid the A1 Highway. It is more dangerous to ride there and less more beautiful. You can do the route also the opposite way. I think that is maybe better, you’ll ride to the nice weather istead of going to cold rainy Hanoi.
We made some trips to the coast to kitesurf in Mui Ne, visit the Vin Pearl amusement park in Nha Trang. But when you like outdoor sports don’t skip the canyoning in Dalat.

We glued an iPhone case on the motorbike and used Google maps to navigate trough Vietnam. When you dont have 3G network, load the maps in your hostel and don’t close the app. The maps will available all the time. Another option to navoagte trough Vietam on your roadtrip is a Offline map like Maps.me
