Today we rode in a sled to the Datanla Falls. It is fun to do and costs 10.000 to get into the park and 45.000 dong to do the sled ride. Tip. let the people in front of you go so you can make speed. That will make the ride even better!
Mui Ne has two sets of sand dunes located about 22 km. from the beach, and a smaller cluster of red hills about 7 km. outside town. Every travel agent on Mui Ne’s main strip offer tours that include these two sites.
Tours usually are run in jeeps with four people, but are available as solo tours on motorbikes. With the distance and heat, the jeep is the better option. In stage four we rode from Mui Ne to Dalat.
This ride took us 7 hours near the coast of Vietnam. The first part was near the coast the second part was in the mountains. This was one of the most beautful rides so far! We saw a lot of glasshouses for flowers and many coffeebean plants. Once in Dalat a girl on a scooter approached us and we had a room for $4 a night a person. It’s not hard to find a hotel in Dalat. They have a big supermarket where you can buy cheaper stuff you need. For example musli for the quick breakfast 🙂
In stage two we rode from Vinh An to Mui Ne.
After a good sleep in a cheap hotel near the lake we went to the mechanic to fix little issues. Filled up our fueltanks, got breakfast and enough water for the first few hours. Lets go!
