Kuang Si Falls Luang Prabang and the Pak Ou Caves
When you’re in Luang Prabang you can arrange your own daytrip and visit the Kuang Si Falls in Luang Prabang and the Pak Ou Caves. We arranged a tuk tuk taxi for 40.000 (40 euro $50) and shared the tuk tuk with eight persons. In Total we drove like 100 km so it is definitly worth it. You can also do it by bike or motorbike (12.000 a day) when you’ve more time / days.
Kuang Si Falls Luang Prabang and the Pak Ou Caves
To go to the cave next to the mekong river you’ve to go by boat. The boat will cost 13.000. The ticket for the cave will cost 20.000.
Kuang Si Falls Luang Prabang
The most beautiful part of the trip are the Kuang Si Falls. The blue water and the different levels make this waterfalls special. At the top you will find a massive waterfall.
My tip: when you’ve visited beautiful caves before skip the Pak Ou Caves and visit only the Kuang Si Falls near Luang Prabang. It saves time and money.
