8 Best Things to Do in Rishikesh India

{GUEST BLOG Manmohan Singh} Rishikesh is that wonder place where beauty in nature meets godliness and fabulous adventure.

Serene green forested hills surrounding the river’s course, homing multitudes of birds and beasts, luring those wild of heart to tread it’s quiet nature trails. The streets of the old town team with myriad offbeat folks- saffron robes, dreadlocks and pop color clothes, cross-border traveler living out of a backpack- it’s a world of fascination out there. Cycling from Stockholm to Oslo

Last week I cycled from Stockholm in Sweden to Oslo in Norway. This was the most beautiful week so far. Lot of nature. Different landscapes and some crazy unpaved routes.

In Stockholm I had a great apartment where I could prepare meals. So the evening before I went cycling again I ate a lot of food. Cooked some eggs for the next days and did grocery for the lunch and diner the next day. In Scandinavia it is aloud to wild camp so always be prepared.

That will costs around 29 DDK (3.90 euro) It was a nice day with lots of tailwind and could make 110km. My first impression of Sweden was Helsingborg and a few km later I saw the first IKEA. I ended my day in Orkeljunga on a campsite near a little lake.
